What is in the Deluxe Edition
- Six vehicles: Concorde, the London Bus, the Trans-Europe Express, the Peterbilt 359, the Hong Kong Tram and a Sikorsky S-76
- Two landmarks: the Eiffel Tower and the Taj Mahal
- Four animals for different climate zones: orca, Komodo dragon, boar family and bison
- Three handcrafted maps: Redrock Bends, Northern Gates and Emerald Shores
- Tycoon Cars, three additional in-game elements and the soundtracks from the earlier Transport Fever games
The pre-order bonus
Pre-ordering adds the TS Queen Mary, a historical ship. That bonus is separate from the Deluxe content and is tied to ordering before release.
About the Collector's Edition
The Collector's Edition was capped at 10,000 units and the quota was not raised. Urban Games says the shop was overwhelmed when it opened, which is why it appeared sold out for a period.
The Collector's Edition comes with a Steam key regardless of which platform you play on. Console players cannot choose a PlayStation or Xbox code.
Is there DLC?
No DLC has been announced. A producer said the team wants to concentrate on the release and on the free updates that follow. There are no published plans for whether, how or when paid content might arrive, and the Deluxe Edition would not cover it if it did.
FAQ
Is the Deluxe Edition a season pass?
No. It contains extra vehicles, landmarks, animals and three maps. Future DLC is not included, and at the time of writing no DLC has been announced at all.
Does the loyalty discount work on the Collector's Edition?
No. The discount covers the digital Standard and Deluxe Editions only, and only on the platform where you already own Transport Fever 2.
Is the Collector's Edition still available?
10,000 units were planned and the quota was not increased. Urban Games says demand was strong. The store briefly looked sold out because of traffic on opening day.
Does the Collector's Edition include a console key?
No. It ships with a Steam key. PlayStation keys cannot be delivered digitally in the same way, which is why console keys are not offered.
